About Benin

Benin is a small country on the coast of West Africa.

Although it looks small in the grand scheme of, well, Africa, it is about the size of Pennsylvania. Their official language is French, but there are a total of 54 indigenous languages that are also spoken. Idaasha, Fon, and Yorouba are three of the main ones.
Porto Novo, the capital of Benin, is located along the coast, as is Cotonou, the town where the Wycliffe base is located, and where I will be spending most of my time.
